Darkness of the Hush

If you knew what I felt when I awake
Or where I went when I closed my eyes
Hearts would expand from just a glimpse
Of the beauty I live inside

If you could taste the things that I create
Or inhale the space I occupy
Minds would open in an instant
From the magic I have tried

If you could travel where I have been
Or give yourself to this overwhelming rush
Souls would live between each whisper
And in the darkness of every hush

Discovery

I grow with the realization
I AM here to learn Me
And just how I relate
To the bigger picture that I see

I move to the knowledge
I AM hidden within
And the path to my discovery
Is to embrace every sin

I sing in the wisdom
I AM and was meant to be
And give purpose to my intentions
As I reveal my glory

Blind Luck

I’m blinded by the shades of gray
Whenever my eyes are locked on you
My pupils fill with dark desire
And block the light of truth

What I see colors my hope
Then my intellect catches up
Distance far greater than my vision
Couldn’t cross with the riches luck

I exist between the black and white
In the law that makes them the same
Space desire and truth both occupy
And living without you has no name

I’ll Always Be

I’m lost in the simplest touch from you
Moment your skin begins to penetrate mine
Destroys all questions about what is true
And the difference is so thin it’s fine

I’m moved to want for more
But then cautious by my desire
Not at all sure who I was before
But risk the burn to tempt the fire

My response is not physical
And the dreams cannot be named
But the simplest touch is so mystical
The depth of my passion is all the same

Your touch has been my greatest teacher
Allowed me to deeply explore
The truth to me is so much deeper
It’s always been, I’ll always be, this and more

Power and the Purpose

I can’t be loved without the truth
Its whisper’s change me everyday
Can’t hold on to old beliefs
Or flow without them in the way

The purpose for such opening
Is the power that it brings
Released my soul from bondage
And my attachment to everything

Truth is what this life is for
Not the symbols and the words
Nor myths or allegories
But the deeper meaning heard

Love me not without the truth
The only song that makes me dance
Bring the light to my attention
If I ever give darkness a chance

Disappearance

Are you willing to disappear
Can you let go of who you are
Can you open to the end of you
The last flash of the final star
Can you let go of the idea
That formed the thought of you
Is what is left ever enough
If the initial idea wasn't true
Can you wake up differently
From the name you were last night
Is it enough to be awareness
With no need to make it right
Can you wake to your deepest darkness
And not shudder at your loss
Where I AM is all there IS
And surrender is all it cost
